Using Grand biscuits makes this recipe so easy. For busy holidays you can make the sauce mixture the night before and just zap it in the microwave for 30 seconds, stir and another 30 seconds. Then your ready to go! Nobody will ever know you used canned biscuits!
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup butter, real butter
1 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tubes large refrigerated biscuits (like Grands)
In a saucepan combine, brown sugar, butter and corn syrup. Heat until butter melts and sugar is dissolved. Add pecans. Pour into grease 13X9 pan. In a shallow bowl combine sugar and cinnamon. Cut each biscuit in half, dip in cinnamon/sugar mixture an place cut side down in brown sugar mixture. Bake 375 at 25- 30 minutes or until golden brown. Invert onto serving plate, and serve warm.
