Don't Eat Out-Cook Out

We are all watching our spending these days, and I think it is much more expensive to eat out than to cook at home. Honey and I use our outdoor grill all year, probably as much in the winter as in the summer. It is good for you, economical, and easy clean up!

This is a great recipe for company as well as just the family. My grandson loves this pork dish!

To serve 4

1 large pork tenderloin (make sure it is a tenderloin)
Good quality bacon
1 Bottle of soy sauce

The tenderloin will be in two pieces. Cut across both pieces making the pieces at least 1 inch thick. After cutting the pork, put together using pieces to make equal sized servings. Wrap ecah piece with bacon and secure with toothpicks. Place in shallow dish and pour bottle of soy sauce over all. Let marinate in the soy sauce 3- 4 hours turning once. Heat your grill. Cook about 15 minutes on one side then turn cooking about 10 minutes more. YUMMY!!

Serve with a salad, veggie and bread. The tenderloin will cost about $10.00, so for a family of four the main entree would be $2.50 each! Can't beat that! Ohh.. the pork tenderloin (minus the bacon) is only 4.5 grams of fat per serving, Can't beat that either!
